Australian-based rockers Bleeding Knees Club's new EP, Chew the Gum, is out later this week. We've got the latest tune from it, "Sun House," to share with you exclusively today. The song is a hazy, garage rock-infused song that recalls elements of the sunny sound that the band grasped when they were in Los Angeles not too long ago.
“A couple of years ago when I was living in L.A., me and a few of my friends were driving to Malibu on a super sunny day," singer/guitarist Alex Wall recalls. "We were traveling through those hills with the ocean in the distance, listening to Good Charlotte. I hadn’t been to the beach in months and I remember it being the best day. Just perfect Californian summer sunshine with my mates, and a cool dog hanging out the car window. So this song’s just a summer pop tune, about how good summer and the beach is.”
Bleeding Knees Club's Chew the Gum is out on April 14.
